For this post, Loft9 is looking for a full-time Technical Recruiter to join our onsite vendor team specializing in Talent Acquisition in Redmond, Washington. Key skills for this role include the ability to influence managers & stakeholders, evangelize process change, and gather and deliver feedback to help us improve results and grow with a continuous learning mindset.  Within the vendor team, there is potential for career growth and increased responsibility.

*Note: This is a contract role with a local Loft9 client, not an internal recruiting role*

    Key responsibilities for this position include:

    • Partner with key stakeholders (HR/Business) and draw upon consulting skills to understand and help determine short term talent acquisition needs to meet business objectives, leveling/compensation strategy, and market trends
    • Understand role profiles and technical job requirements across multiple disciplines, including machine learning, hardware and software engineering, cloud, user experience & design, supply chain, and more
    • Execute a candidate generation strategy which includes industry/competitive research and sourcing tactics to attract passive and active candidates
    • Conduct initial phone screen of candidates and contribute to the team pipeline
    • Understand candidate career goals, design compensation recommendations, and consult to clients on how to successfully hire candidates
    • Own candidate outreach and engagement for industry events, including pre-event invites and post-event outreach to deliver against event attendance goals
    • Maximize pre-event sourcing including sorting attendees lists to find VIPs, pulling together speakers, demos, and paper authors, and coordinating efforts between the recruiting teams and the business to inform and connect them with VIPs
    • For networking events, ensure VIP attendees have a differentiated experience by working with their recruitment partners to connect them with the business leaders
    • Learn, implement and share creative sourcing/productivity tips and skills among the broader staffing team

    Desired Qualifications:

    • 1-3 years of staffing/recruiting experience
    • Excellent research/sourcing skills. Including use of Boolean, X-ray and creative search techniques
    • Proven ability to build and maintain candidate pipelines for both short and long term hiring needs
    • Superb customer focus, attention to detail, and organization skills
    • Ability to interact and influence business leaders at varying levels
    • Prior industry experience and technical acumen (knowledge & application), business acumen, and industry knowledge/competitive landscape is preferred
    • Experience in developing and running high volume candidate outreach programs
    • Self-motivated to deliver results with little supervision, and to effectively manage large scale projects
